It’s not unusual to see flocks of birds feeding on the bright red berries of the Mountain Ash in our back yard. Today the berries brought a bit of festivity to a cold, foggy day!

The 4th of July rose is one of many varieties in the Manito Park “Old Fashioned Rose Garden”. Some of the varieties had a fragrance that filled the air. Such a wonderful place for a quick lunch break stroll!

The sunken garden at Manito has now been planted with a variety of colorful annuals. Soon, very soon, the color will explode. A wonderful place for pictures and an evening stroll.
