Snow in Pend Oreille County
While driving in north Spokane County and Pend Oreille County today it was evident that the flowers aren’t going to find their way to the sunshine just yet! There’s still lots of snow in some areas of our Inland Northwest!
Snow at the Court House
This was the scene Monday morning at the court house. Little tractors with plows were clearing all the walk ways. Busy, busy. Maybe it was the last of snow for Spokane.
Warming trend
We are being told by the all-knowing weather people that we are now entering a warming trend….but today the snow looked like it was staying. This is the view from the northwest ridge, looking southeast towards Spokane Valley.
Brrr……

Sun and Snow
The brilliant sun, and very white fresh snow……….and it was time for sunglasses. Just beautiful today! Folks made the comment all day long….wow, it is just spectacular.
God’s glitter
The snow sparkled like glitter as the sun shone on the new fallen snow. Showing properties today was a wonderful experience……..it was a reminder of God’s blessings of beauty on our Inland Northwest!
All is quiet…..
There is a strange quiet after a snowfall. Quickly however, the snow shovels start their raking sounds, the plows growl and scrape and soon the squeals of children slipping and sliding. ‘Tis the season!
Snow cap
The snow is on Mt. Spokane. Skiers are beginning to leap for joy! All the rain we are experiencing in town says soon the ski lifts will open on the mountain!
When weeds are pretty!
The snow and heavy frost this morning made the world clean and new… add the sunshine and it was stunning.
It’s Official! Snow….
Friday morning we experienced our first snow of the season. Yes, it’s beautiful. Where did summer go? This picture was taken of Holmberg Park off of North Wall Street.
