Every tree in bloom deserves a picture! The great news is that today there was just a patch of blue behind this tree. Ah…..blue skies and flowering trees, what could be better?
Every spring one of my “favorite things” are the trees in bloom. This tree-lined drive way is one of those I watch. It’s a wonderful time of year! Hope springs eternal.
There’s always joy when the first wild flowers are seen in spring! Soon, plantings will be safe from frost! It’s the time of year in Spokane that brings smiles to all gardeners.
The blossoms on our early spring bushes are finally making an appearance. This was downtown, facing southwest. It’s one of the first to come alive!

Cold outside–warm inside. These forced bulbs bring a bit of hope that spring will come. The Inland Northwest is definitely a picture of winter and we anxiously await when these bulbs will bloom in our yards.
Even at dusk the white blossoms on the trees were bright! It was a lovely evening for a walk. The trees are popping colors of pink, magenta, yellow and white. Simply delightful!
