Rubber Boa snake by the Little Spokane River. What a surprise for our granddaughters to find this “rascal” while out on a Sunday afternoon walk! The rubber boa is commonly found in the Northwest but they are very shy and curl up in a ball when discovered, so we don’t see them often.
