Providence Center for Faith and Healing

[pe2-image src=”” href=”″ caption=”” type=”image” alt=”IMG_20140718_142354.jpg” ]On the Sacred Heart Medical Center campus there is a special garden. When the Sisters of Providence gave their convent and garden to create the Providence Center for Faith and Healing, they encouraged the hospital to use this gift to create a beautiful space where people can get away from the hospital, connect with God and nourish their spirits in nature.

The Meditation Garden is a peaceful place with flowing streams, waterfalls, walking paths and places to sit and breathe in beauty. The Garden is accessible 24 hours a day through a gate on the north side, facing the Emergency Department on 8th Avenue.
