Just a simple bull pine at the “Bowl & Pitcher”

We rarely take notice of our stately bull pines. A little dusting of snow, however, and it’s Christmas card worthy! Inus ponderosa, commonly known as the ponderosa pine,[2] bull pineblackjack pine,[3] western yellow-pine,[4] or filipinus pine[5] is a very large pine tree species of variable habitat native to mountainous regions of western North America. It is the most widely distributed pine species in North America.[6]:4
