Beside Still Waters

Spokane River Valley

This monument is erected near the newest lower bridge, just below Highway 395 Wandermere Bridge.
The Mighty Columbia

Spokane Downtown River

This picture is taken near the north entry of Riverpark Square, close to Spokane City Hall. Notice that the court house is north, across the river.
Double Tree Skywalk

This is a view from the Double Tree Skywalk, looking north across the river. We have such a beautiful downtown and park!
Fall on the River
The trees and bushes are turning a beautiful red and gold. The Little Spokane River was looking very cold today, but the foliage created warmth for our viewing pleasure! This picture was taken near the Dartford area–very close to the Wandermere Golf Course.
Gonzaga View
This was the view of Gonzaga today from across the Spokane River. It was a lovely day and the trail along the River was busy with joggers and bikers.
Across the waters…..
Looking north, across the Spokane River is the Pier One building. Notice the Division Street Bridge on the far right. Isn’t the reflection beautiful?
Autumn on the Spokane River
Autumn is here with overcast skies, colorful bushes and trees, and very few people on the Centennial Trail. This is taken from the south side of the river, looking at the Division Street bridge. Calm waters!
Upriver Drive
Upriver Drive. We never tire of the beauty of our Spokane River. Walk a few feet, catch a new picture. The temptation on hot summer days is to grab a swimming suit and jump in. Many do!
